'Vinny' Golfers To Get Free Guitars

Vince Gill hosts his 17th annual golf tournament, The Vinny Pro-Celebrity-Junior Invitational, on May 17 and 18 at the Golf Club of Tennessee in Kingston Springs, and this year, Vince has joined up with the Gibson Foundation.
Gibson has agreed to donate 26 Epiphone acoustic guitars to the young golfers who will play in the event, as well as one custom Gibson guitar, which will be sold in the silent auction.
"I started playing a Gibson before I could walk and being able to show off the juniors at 'The Vinny,' who not only play extremely well but know the rules and etiquette of the game, gives me great pleasure," Vince said in a news release. "Henry (Juszkiewicz, CEO) and Dave (Berryman, president) at Gibson have been extremely generous in supporting this event over the years, and that generosity goes a long way in providing our young generation of future musicians a chance to excel in music and sports."
"The Vinny" has raised more than $4 million for junior golf programs across Tennessee. For more information on the Gibson Foundation, please visit www.gibsonfoundation.org.
