Wednesday, April 1, 2009 – Martina McBride delivers the fourth album of her career to debut at number one on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart with her new release, "Shine." With more than 41,000 units in first-week sales, "Shine" debuted in the top 10 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart. McBride takes over the top of the country chart from Taylor Swift's "Fearless."
"Shine" has launched the first single, Ride, currently 11 on the charts. McBride will be on the syndicated Ellen DeGeneres Show tomorrow. On Sunday, she will be on A&E interview & performance series, Private Sessions. McBride also hits The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson on April 17.
