April 24, 2009 — Sarah Darling's very first video, "Jack Of Hearts," has gotten plenty of attention on GAC, and she stops by to chat with host Nan Kelley on this week's edition of Top 20 Country Countdown.
An Iowa native, Sarah came to national attention when she co-wrote a song with newsman Harry Smith and performed it during CBS-TV's "Early Show" coverage of the presidential debate in Nashville last fall. Now she has 13 self-penned songs on her debut album, Every Monday Morning, available digitally on Tuesday. She's also got some illustrious co-writers: "Jack Of Hearts" was authored with the aid of Marc Beeson, who wrote Pat Green's "Let Me"; and Don Pfrimmer, credited with Diamond Rio's "Meet In The Middle."
Top 20 Country Countdown counts down the week's top country videos from No. 20 to No. 1 as voted by viewers on each week on GACTV.com. A new countdown premieres every Friday at 8 p.m. ET on GAC and airs again Saturdays at 10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. ET; Sundays at 1 p.m. ET; and Mondays at 10 a.m. ET. Viewers can vote for their favorite videos, as well as purchase Top 20 artists' albums and ringtones at GACTV.com.
