April 23, 2009 — Faith Hill's proven herself fashionably flexible through the years with a bevy of hairstyles and a range of wardrobe looks. Now she's flaunting her adaptable beauty in a series of four Redbook covers that present her not only in a classic Faith pose but also in photos that mimic the iconic appearances of sophisticated Grace Kelly, ever-artful Twiggy and the seductive Brigitte Bardot.
With cosmetic changes and makeovers in wardrobe and accessories, the photo shoot was time consuming, but the results capture the elasticity and adaptability of which every woman is capable.
"Grace is probably the one that I relate to the most in my life and the one that I have most in common with," Faith says. "I have this seemingly high-profile life, like Grace did, and we were both the mother of three children. She epitomizes the all-American girl with a quiet class and inner strength. She was like everybodyE2s girl — seemingly comfortable and accessible — yet untouchable."
Inside the issue, Faith insists she's grown less concerned about the onset of age.
"I'm not saying I don't look in the mirror and say, 'That line wasn't there yesterday,'" she explains. "But I try not to focus on that. Taking better care of myself has helped a lot — there's this quiet confidence that comes with it."
The Redbook issue hits newsstands on Tuesday.
