Bluegrass legend Del McCoury released two new musical projects on Tuesday (May 12) on his own imprint, McCoury Music. A five-disc boxed set, Celebrating 50 Years of Del McCoury, covers music from his entire career, while By Request, compiles 14 of his most popular songs on one disc. The Del McCoury Band is slated to perform at the Bonnaroo Music Festival in Manchester, Tenn., on June 13. Other new releases include the Belleville Outfit's Time to Stand (Thirty Tigers), Casey Driessen's Oog (Red Shoe), Steve Earle's Townes (New West), Gypsy Dave & the Stumpjumpers' A Bucketful of Ghosts (self-released), Chuck Mead's Journeyman's Wager (Thirty Tigers), Alecia Nugent's Hillbilly Goddess (Rounder) and David Serby's Honky Tonk & Vine (Harbor Grove).
