Katie Armiger is a very busy young lady these days. Just yesterday she released her latest single "Gone." The ballad is one of the first songs that Katie wrote both lyrically and musically on her own. The song has been very well received by fans out on the road attending Katie's mall-hopping Simon dTour – Country Music Tour sponsored by GAC, Simon Property Group, and F.Y.E. stores. You can check upcoming dates at Katie's official website.
"Gone" was inspired by a glance in my rearview mirror and how it's always sad to leave my family behind when I hit the road," said Katie. "But when I sat down to write it the song took a turn of its own. It morphed into the realization to live life to the fullest and make your mark in this world without letting anyone stand in your way."

"Gone," the fourth single from Katie's critically acclaimed second album Believe on Cold River Records. It explores the idea of not holding back but looking forward to a bright future. There is no question that Katie is proving that her future is indeed bright.
"This song is special to me not only because it's the first I've ever written by myself, but because of its meaning to me personally. In a way it empowered me and I hope it does that for others," added Katie.
And if all that activity is not enough, Katie just teamed up with CiCi's Pizza for their "Ultimate Pizza Party Blowout" this Saturday, Aug. 8th. From 11 a.m. – 9 p.m., you can stop into one of their more than 650 locations across the nation, gorge yourself on all-you-can-eat pizza and pick up a free coupon book that just so happens to include a discount offer to download Katie's current album Believe.
Touring malls, pizza parties and lots of great music. Sounds like Katie is living every teenage girl's dream!
