Sunday, April 19, 2009 – Singer Ferlin Huskey was hospitalized with congestive heart failure and pneumonia, an Associated Press report said.
Husky, 81, was said to be in stable condition Sunday. He was admitted to a hospital in Springfield, Mo., on Friday.
The Missouri native was very popular in the 1950s and 1960s with hits A Dear John Letter, Gone and Wings of a Dove.
